Embedded Software Engineer – Intern

SeaMicro is looking for a bright student to work on product software and development tools while interacting and learning from our highly talented staff of senior software engineers.  You must be the type of person that likes to tackle tough problems, works well independently as well as within a team, and has passion and pride for achieving quality results.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Masters in CS or CE
• Must have completed at least one embedded programming project
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills in C on a Linux platform
• Course work and project experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large or distributed software systems
• Familiarity with computer architectures and operating systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python) and SQL is a plus
• Industry embedded programming experience is a big plus
